I am a licensed real estate professional, who only represents and acts for buyers, not sellers.

My profession (call it ‘buying agent‘, ‘search & acquisition agent‘ or ‘home hunter‘) is regulated by the law N° 70-9 of 2 January 1970, known as the Hoguet law.

Among other things, the Hoguet law:

  • Requires the holding of the professional card.
  • Requires the payment of the contributions of civil responsibility and financial guarantee.
  • Prohibits the real estate agent to collect any amount of money (i.e., search fees/commissions; administrative fees) before the conclusion of the transaction and the establishment of a written act containing the commitment of the parties (i.e., the signing of the deed of sale at the notary).
  • Requires a written agreement (“mandat de recherche”).

I hold the T card N° CPI 0605 2016 000 012 891 issued by the ‘CCI Lyon Métropole Saint-Étienne Roanne’.

My business is covered by a professional liability insurance taken out at Abeille IARD & Santé (Aéma Groupe), 13 Rue du Moulin Bailly, 92270 Bois-Colombes, France. The policy number is 77483214.
